The Agribusiness Seminar Brazil & Indonesia – Green, Sustainable & Halal gathered on Tuesday, 31st October 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event held by The Brazil Indonesia Sustainable Agribusiness Seminar is organized by CCAB, the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and with support from the Brazilian Embassy in Jakarta.

The seminar aims to foster knowledge sharing, align common interests, and facilitate increased investment and trade within the agricultural sector between these two nations. Business people, government officials, and industry associations attended this seminar.

On this occasion our Commercial Director (Mrs. Maya Devi), had the opportunity to speak as the Chairman of Indonesian Corn Refinery Association to share the industry landscape. Brazil is an important trade partner to provide corn as the raw material to produce starch and its derivatives. Ibu Maya Devi highlighted “the increasing awareness on corn sustainability in corn sourcing and the opportunity to increase Brazil market share along with the projected growth of the industry.”
